Take the Ferry from Portland to Peaks Island
Take the ferry from Portland to Peaks Island! Rent a golf cart to explore the small island take a few snacks and sit on the beach, collect shells, & relax! Or grab lunch on the island with beautiful views of the Harbor.
Shopping in Freeport & L.L.Bean Flagship Store
Head over to Freeport for shopping and restaurants! Be sure to stop by the LL Bean flagship store and the giant boot! If you are looking for lunch we would recommend the Maine Beer company for both beer (get Lunch or Dinner if you are an IBA fan) and pizza!
Hike Hawk Mountain
Fairly easy hike with pretty views of the valley!
Mt. Washington - Sherburne Trail Hike
7-8 hour hike if you go to the top of Mount Washington. Can also shorten hike to 2-3 hours and still get beautiful views of Mount Washington by stopping and turning around at Hermit Lake. The picture is from when Katie ski toured so there was snow but in June the weather should be pleasant.
