Semi-Formal/ Cocktail Attire While this is still an elevated event, you are not required to wear a tuxedo (although go for it if you want to show it off!). A suit is acceptable. You can wear a floor-length dress, but if you prefer a knee-length cocktail dress, then feel free. We are getting married on the grass and stone beneath three oak trees. There will be outdoor patio/decks and dance floors with a temperature-controlled climate at the Cyder-House. August in New England can have a mix of weather. Our celebration will be both outside and inside. If it's nice out, the doors and windows will flow open to cool us off as we dance, or stay shut with AC if it's raining or unbearably hot.
The ceremony will begin at 4:30 pm. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the ceremony to park and find your seat, or you can use our van Shuttle Service we are offering to all guests to and from the venue. We will be getting married on-site, outside, beneath the three oak trees!
Yes, the ceremony will take place outside, cocktail hour will be on the deck of the newly renovated cider mill and the wedding reception will be in a climate-controlled Cyder-House.
No. Although, we recommend the Residence Inn Portsmouth Downtown/Waterfront since Portsmouth is a bustling place.
If you received a plus one, your guest's name is listed on your invitation and will appear under your name when you RSVP. Otherwise, we would love to keep the wedding as an intimate event with close friends and family.
We decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event, with the exception of some immediate family. Invitations will be specific and will include the names of the children who are invited. We hope you understand and enjoy a night away to celebrate with us!
When you receive your formal invitation, you will be able to RSVP on our website by clicking the RSVP tab in the menu. The RSVP deadline is July 1st, 2025. If you don't RSVP in time, we will reach out to confirm. If we don't hear from you, we will assume that you are unable to attend.
