Any lodging booked directly through Rumbling Bald's website is considered on property. We highly encourage you to stay at Rumbling Bald. Rideshares are difficult in the Lake Lure area. Plus, staying on the property will have you close to the wedding action all weekend long!
Cell service in the Lake Lure area can be spotty, and GPS may cut out as you get closer to the venue. We suggest saving directions ahead of time or taking a screenshot before you arrive.
Cars and golf carts are permitted across the entire property. To rent golf carts from the pro shop, call (828)694-3042. Carts are $100 per day.
For Camp Miller, casual attire is welcome! We'll be playing games and having fun. Come in what you're comfortable in. For the wedding, we kindly ask guests to join us in formal attire. We invite ladies to wear floor-length or midi dresses and gentlemen to wear a tuxedo or a dark suit with a tie. We can’t wait to see everyone dressed up!
Our ceremony will take place beachfront at Rumbling Bald. Free parking is available at Legends on the Lake, and signage will direct you to the ceremony site. It will begin promptly at 5:00 p.m., so we recommend arriving by 4:30 p.m. The ceremony will take place outdoors; however, it will be on a paved surface, so your heels are safe! We’re looking forward to sharing this special moment with you.
Although we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. However, kids are welcome at the Camp Miller Welcome Party if you plan on traveling with them.
We have partnered with Lifetime of Love Nannies to provide childcare. All of their nannies complete a 10-tier screening and are CPR certified.
