Mia and Austin started dating back when Natalie was a junior in high school, and even though Natalie had a reputation for being tough on her brother’s girlfriends, Mia won her over pretty quickly. She’s seen Natalie through boyfriends, college moves, and basically every awkward stage in between. Both Sagittariuses and practically twins, people often mistake them for actual sisters instead of in-laws. Mia has been the sister Natalie never had—through thick and thin, laughs and tears—and Natalie honestly wouldn’t be who she is today without her.
Nic Guevara
Best Man
Nic is one of those people who’s equal parts fun, loyal, and always up for a good time. He and Cole first met back in 6th grade, but their real friendship took off in high school when they became pretty much inseparable. Between playing football, raccoon hunting, and getting into just enough trouble during their formative years, they spent a lot of time side by side. These days there may be thousands of miles between them, but somehow nothing has changed. Nic has always been like a brother to Cole, and that definitely isn’t changing anytime soon.

Ashley and Natalie were thrown together when Natalie became the random roommate in their college sophomore apartment. Ashley was one of the only roommates Natalie hadn’t met yet, and for the first two weeks, it was just the two of them in the apartment—instant best friends. Two peas in a pod, cut from the same cloth, basically the same soul. From late-night heart-to-hearts to laughing until they cried over absolutely nothing, these two were borderline annoying in how much they loved each other. Natalie has two soulmates—obviously Cole, but Ashley was her first. Through every life twist, move, breakup, and triumph, Ashley has been there, supporting, loving, and celebrating with Natalie every step of the way.
Hunter LeRoux

Cole and Hunter instantly hit it off as friends and ended up living together in Colorado for four years, long enough to see the best and worst of each other along the way. Always down for an adventure and a good time, Hunter was part of many memorable moments during those years. He’s also been around since the very beginning of Cole and Natalie’s story. There are plenty of stories from that time… but we’ll save those for cocktails at the wedding.
Dani Kramp

Dani and Natalie met while they were both living in Santa Barbara and instantly bonded over their shared love of horses, music, and a good adventure. What started as casual hangs quickly turned into a lifelong friendship. Dani is funny, kind, and wildly creative—she’s also the talented photographer who captured Natalie and Cole's proposal (so if the photos are good, you know who to thank). She’s the type of friend who will show up with food when Natalie is sick without even asking, and who has absolutely mastered the art of the Irish goodbye after a night out.
Layne Carson

Cole and Layne have known each other since what feels like the dawn of time—and were probably terrible influences on each other growing up. In fact, we’re fairly certain they’re responsible for a few of Shelly’s premature gray hairs along the way. Despite all the trouble they may have gotten into back then, they’ve both come a long way since those days and are still just as close.
Talia Slatkin

Talia and Natalie met in Boulder at tryouts for the equestrian team and instantly became fast friends. Despite Natalie being a junior and Talia a freshman, they quickly realized they balanced each other out perfectly—Talia brings out Natalie’s wild and free side, while Natalie does her best to keep Talia at least somewhat grounded. They were roommates during Natalie’s senior year of college, survived COVID together (which honestly deserves its own medal), and created countless adventures and memories along the way. Although they now live on completely opposite sides of the country, they’re still just as close as the day Natalie packed up and moved to the mountains—where she shortly after met Cole. No matter how much time passes between visits, the moment they’re back together it’s like no time has passed at all—just a lot more stories to catch up on.
Joel Cunning

Joel is Cole’s younger cousin, and the two of them spent countless weekends together growing up. Whether they were playing video games, swimming, or playing some kind of sport from sunup to sundown, there was never a shortage of ways to stay busy. Over the years, those weekends turned into a lot of great memories and plenty of laughs. Joel is incredibly funny, sharp, and someone Cole has loved watching grow into the person he is today.

Hannah and Natalie met at work and immediately connected. It didn’t take long for them to realize they are almost suspiciously similar—both sharing a love for travel, good food, cute clothes, and a well-planned outing. What started as a work friendship quickly spilled into weekends filled with wine tasting, getting their nails done, book clubs, and, of course, researching all the vacations they plan to take together. Safe to say their friendship has expanded far beyond office hours.
Keaton Allen

Keaton and Cole met back in middle school playing travel baseball, and somehow it didn’t take long before they became inseparable partners in crime. Whether it was getting into trouble they probably shouldn’t have or just goofing off for hours, Keaton has always been the perfect mix of ridiculous and caring. Cole considers him a brother, and after all they’ve been through together, it’s clear there’s no adventure too big—or too dumb—for these two to tackle side by side.
Ainsley Osborn

Ainsley is Cole’s youngest sister, and like most siblings growing up, she and Cole spent plenty of time fighting and bickering. Ironically, once Cole moved to Colorado they became much closer, and Ainsley started coming out to visit during her school breaks. Ainsley first met Natalie when Cole brought her home to Indiana after only two months of officially dating (a bold move, but it worked out). The two hit it off right away and got closer with every trip back to Indiana and Ainsley’s visits to Colorado. From Ainsley trying her first oyster, to Hozier concerts, San Francisco trips, and a lot of laughs along the way, the memories kept stacking up. Somewhere along the way, Ainsley went from Cole’s little sister to Natalie’s little sister too.
Austin Muller

Austin is Natalie’s only sibling and older brother, the classic protective big bro who made sure Cole got grilled on pretty much every aspect of his life the first time he met the family. Their real bonding moment? Lake Tahoe, six hours in the water crawdad fishing with a bucket, a paddleboard, and big dreams of the ultimate crawdad haul. They also share a love of cooking, constantly dreaming up new and fun creations together in the kitchen. Austin and Cole might be total opposites, but somehow they complement each other perfectly… and together, they’re two of Natalie’s absolute favorite people on the planet.

Ashley and Cole, only a little over two years apart, were partners in crime growing up. They spent plenty of time teaming up against their youngest sister, but also just as much time beating up on each other in their classic sibling rivalry. Over the years, their relationship slowly shifted from enemies to friends. When Natalie came into the picture, it only took one fateful night of a few too many vodka Red Bulls and a spilled pitcher of beer to seal the deal and turn that friendship into sisterhood. Ashley is one of the funniest and sassiest people we know, and we wouldn’t change a thing about her. We’re so thrilled she’s traveling all the way from Scotland to stand by our side.

Justin and Cole met in Colorado, and at first, Justin didn’t exactly roll out the welcome wagon. But give him two months—and a wedding barn to build together—and suddenly Cole was officially “cool.” Over three years, they camped, hunted, and worked cows like true partners in crime. Natalie can attest that these two still spend countless hours on the phone talking about… something important, probably, though nobody really knows what.

Vivi is one of Natalie’s youngest cousins, and Natalie has loved watching her grow up over the years. She was there just a few hours after Vivi was born and has watched her grow from a tiny baby into the amazing young woman she is today. From first steps to sending her off to winter formal, Natalie has cherished being part of so many special moments along the way. It wouldn’t have felt right celebrating this day without Vivi standing by her side. Vivi’s mom, Natalie’s aunt, has always been a huge role model for her, and Natalie has always hoped she could be that same kind of role model for Vivi.
Brandon Anglin

Brandon and Cole first met while working together in a restaurant kitchen during one of Colorado’s brutal winters. What started as a simple work friendship quickly turned into a genuine bond that lasted well beyond their time in the kitchen. After leaving Colorado, life took them to different places and they kept in touch here and there over the years. Then, during Cole and Natalie’s second round of hauling a moving truck from Santa Barbara to Santa Cruz, Brandon happened to text Cole asking where he had landed after moving to California. By pure coincidence, Brandon had just moved to Santa Cruz too! Since then, the three of them have spent plenty of time together. Whether it’s exploring Santa Cruz, heading up to the city, or squeezing in a weekend adventure. Cole and Natalie are so grateful for Brandon’s friendship and so excited to have him standing by Cole’s side on their special day.
Rua Muller
Flower Dog
Rua, Natalie’s parents’ beloved dog, will be stepping into the very important role of flower doggie. She’s incredibly smart, full of personality, and always eager to learn a new trick or take on a challenge. While she’s wonderfully well-behaved and easy to train, everything changes the moment a tennis ball appears—at that point, the ball becomes her entire world. Loyal, playful, and endlessly entertaining, Rua brings so much joy to our family, and we’re so excited she’ll be part of our special day.
Konrad Wall
Ring Security
Konrad will be taking on the very important role of Ring Security. He’s one of the most lovable and entertaining kids you’ll ever meet, with a goofy sense of humor and a personality that keeps everyone laughing. Like Natalie, he has a special way with animals and seems to understand them on a level most people don’t. Whether he’s happily fishing, seeing how many marshmallows he can fit in his mouth at Auntie Jody’s house, or enthusiastically following Uncle Greg’s lead by tossing things into the fire, Konrad brings a whole lot of fun wherever he goes. There’s no one we’d trust more to keep a close eye on the rings.
