Travel Note
If you arrive at Istanbul Airport (IST), you have four main options for reaching your hotel: taxi, private transfer, Havaist airport bus, or the M11 metro. Istanbul Airport officially lists Havaist routes to central areas such as Taksim and Sultanahmet, and the M11 metro connects the airport to Istanbul’s wider public transport network. - Taxi or private transfer is usually the easiest option, especially if you are travelling with luggage, arriving late, or staying in Tarabya, Sarıyer, or along the Bosphorus. - Havaist airport bus is a good option for guests staying in Taksim, Sultanahmet, Aksaray, or Kadıköy. Boarding is from the airport’s transportation floor (-2). - Metro (M11) is the lowest-cost option and works best for guests travelling light and staying near the metro network. If you arrive at Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW), please note that it is on the Asian side of Istanbul, so travel to hotels on the European side can take longer. SAW officially lists taxi, metro, public bus, and Havabus/Havaist shuttle services among its transport options.
