We recommend those who are unfamiliar with Georgetown University arrive at the campus 15-20 minutes prior to the ceremony. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 pm.
Ceremony: Street parking in the Georgetown neighborhood is available, but will be hard to find. Additional limited parking will be available in the Southwest Garage. You may need cash for the parking rates in this garage. It is recommended guests take an Uber to the ceremony. A shuttle bus will bring guests from the ceremony at Georgetown to the reception venue at the Hotel Washington. Reception: The Hotel Washington does not have parking onsite. However, the hotel does offer valet parking for $59 a night. The parking garage across the street from the hotel may offer slightly cheaper rates if you self park.
Friday: Very casual dress. Feel free to wear wear jeans and a nice shirt or a casual dress. Whatever you might wear for your normal Friday night out. Saturday: Suits for the guys, gowns or cocktail dresses for women. Sunday: Bills gear.
Children are welcome to attend the wedding ceremony; however, to encourage the party to continue throughout the night and to allow all of our guests to let loose, we are hosting an adults-only reception.
Both the bride and the groom have numerous family members with nut allergies. Out of an abundance of caution, the wedding will be nut-free. However, if you have a different food allergy or dietary restriction, please email andrea.muffoletto@gmail.com by September 1 and it will be accommodated by the hotel staff.
There is not transportation to the ceremony, but there will be shuttle transportation provided to guests from the ceremony at Georgetown to the reception venue at the Hotel Washington.
Please RSVP by September 1, 2022. If it is after this date and for some reason your RSVP has changed, please email andrea.muffoletto@gmail.com.
Since our ceremony takes place at 5pm we expect most of the activity surrounding the Homecoming Tailgate on campus to have died down, but this is a weekend long activity so we do expect campus and the neighborhood to be a bit busier (and drunker) than usual. This may result in less parking availability than usual. Otherwise, the only major impact we expect is long lines at The Tombs.
