Can I bring a date?

while we do believe in the more the merrier, we are keeping our guest list only to who we invited. if it’s not explicitly stated on your invitation, we don’t have room for extras

Are kids invited?

Answer

we have a small guest list and would like to keep our wedding kid-free. we ask that you please give yourself the night off and enjoy yourself with the kiddos at home!

Is there a room block?

yes! we will have a room block at the sheraton in station square with overflow space at the holiday inn express in south side. see the travel & accommodations page for more info.

What is the dress code?

Answer

semi formal/cocktail attire please! we want you to feel comfortable, so bring your dancing shoes but not your jeans! please no white, cream, beige or like colors, that is reserved for the bride!

What about parking for the reception?

the lemont offers valet parking for the event but the cost is taken care of! but please think of tipping the valets if you’re utilizing their service!

What if i have food restrictions?

please let us know of any food restrictions with your RSVP and we will work with the venue to plan accordingly!

Where are you registered?

Answer

to save you looking, shopping, and buying, here's an idea we hope you like trying! a wishing well we thought would be great, but only if you wish to participate. a card with some money is placed in the well, then make a wish... but do not tell!

Can I take photos during the wedding?

Answer

we will be having an unplugged ceremony - meaning there will be NO phones allowed during our ceremony, we’re going to leave those photos to the professionals. there will be a sign and an announcement made to remind you on that day! after the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos as you’d like & tag us in them so we can share the fun!

how will we get from the hotel to the venue?

Answer

if you are staying at the sheraton, we will have a school bus shuttle to take you to and from the hotel & the lemont! we will provide the shuttle schedule/run times closer to the date & at the hotel. the incline is also close to both locations if interested in seeing the city one your way to the wedding! unfortunately, we will not have a shuttle from the holiday inn as it is our overflow hotel, but uber and lyft are easily accessible throughout the city!

we saw you got married in february, is there still a wedding?

yes! while we did decide to keep our original date of february 19, 2021, it was a very small ceremony with our parents, siblings & bridal party. we will still be having our reception at the lemont in september! we can’t wait to celebrate with everyone!
