i love you. i know.

If you know us at all, you know that we love Star Wars. We really bonded over that in the beginning of our relationship and continue to make special memories with each other involving the intricate worlds created in these stories. From watching all the movies and shows together, to planning our LEGO and wine dates, going to Batuu at Disney World, and going out on May 4th, it's always something we look forward to doing together. It's a perfect representation of what we love most about each other - our youthful spirits and creative minds. -Alex & Gena

I was taking my casual evening stroll on the beach when through the mist and moonlight I came across a beautiful woman stranded on the... we met on Tinder. I had written a very cheesy poem in an effort to sound vaguely interesting and mysterious, and somehow it worked. She matched my energy and we went back and forth, getting to know each other digitally for about a month before she finally agreed to a first date with me (I thought she was politely dodging me). We went to Roboto's, a Tallahassee sushi staple, and I knew that my perseverance paid off because I didn't even finish the sushi (if you know me, you know this was a big deal). I knew I had met someone wonderful, as I immediately talked to my dad about this beautiful girl I met, who even let me keep the leftover sushi... what a dream. -Alex

The day after our first date, I got a text from Alex saying "look right." We just so happened to be in the same campus dining hall that I rarely visited at the exact same time. We talked for hours until Alex had to go to class. He left, but then ran back and handed me a note that he found with "You are beautiful" written on it. I still have it. The rest is history. - Gena
