Where do I park?

Answer

You will pull up to the Chesapeake Inn Restaurant & Marina (605 2nd Street, Chesapeake City, MD 21915) and valet will park your car for you. They will then guide you to our outdoor wedding venue called “The Chandler House” (105 George Street, Chesapeake City, MD 21915) right by the water. It is a 6-7 minute walk estimate from the reception area but no worries, we have a golf cart service! There is extremely limited parking on the street we get married on so please use the valet & park at the Chesapeake Inn where the rest of the evening will take place. Our wedding starts promptly at 5 P.M., please arrive at The Chandler House by 4:45PM to get to our ceremony & to be seated on time. Call, text, or email me with any other questions if any! What should I wear?

Answer

Formal wedding attire! Just keep in mind that it is a June wedding so I wouldn’t wear anything too heavy for the outdoor ceremony as it is in June. I suggest bringing a light jacket or cardigan to add on for the reception if you get cold easily when we move into the air conditioned ballroom for the rest of the evening. I hope everyone will be dancing the night away so an extra layer might not be necessary! My bridesmaids will be wearing a light shade of misty blue for their gowns. I will be the one in white so my one request is please do not wear white!💙

In lieu of gifts

Answer

As we’ve owned our own home for a year or two, really don't need anything new! Instead of getting us a small wedding gift, donations for our honeymoon fund would be pure bliss. We are honeymooning in Ireland!!
