Sean and Megan's story begins at their high school’s National Honor Society Induction ceremony. Megan was running late, and by the time she arrived, the only seat left in the auditorium was next to Sean. As she quickly sat down, she thought about how similar the ceremony was to a scene from Dead Poets Society, a movie she'd seen recently. Before she knew it, Sean turned to her and whispered exactly what she had JUST been thinking, as if they were old friends. From there, they introduced ourselves, but it wasn’t until nearly two years afterwards that Sean finally gathered up the courage to ask Megan out on a date. Four years later, with two-and-a-half of those being long-distance, the tragic pandemic did bring about one good thing: Sean was able to come home and propose!
