Our officiant, Rabbi Kirzane, will explain the significance of each part of the ceremony as it occurs. If you'd like to get an idea ahead of time, visit this helpful link: https://reformjudaism.org/beliefs-practices/lifecycle-rituals/weddings/12-rituals-you-may-see-jewish-wedding
If your envelope was addressed to yourself + guest, then yes! If your envelope was addressed to the ____ Family, then your children are also invited. Unless previously discussed, please do not bring additional guests. Shoot us an email if you have any questions about this. :)
Invited kids, yes!
Semi-formal dress requested, but we're not super strict about this. Just wear whatever makes you feel fancy! (Please, no white ball gowns.)
Guest should arrive by 3:30 PM at the latest, as the ceremony will begin at 4. However, if guests would like to participate in the Kabbalat Panim and Badeken, please arrive after 2:00 PM.
KAM Isaiah Israel is accessible by bus and car. We've experienced some difficulties getting cabs or Ubers directly to KAMII. We recommend setting your destination to Sycamore Playlot/Park around the corner. There is a parking lot connected to the venue, and guests will enter through the parking lot entrance. Please note that the street may be blockaded due to President Obama's residence across the street. Don't panic! You should be able to pull into the parking lot just fine.
There will be an open bar with our favorite cocktails, mocktails, beer, wine, and soft drinks.
Formal invites will be sent in early July. We will open up the RSVP function on our website when these are sent. Please RSVP by September 1st, 2026. We will need to give vendors final headcounts shortly after this date, so we won't have much time to follow up with overdue RSVPs. <3
Yes! KAMII has recently undergone a renovation to restore the space and to make it more accessible. Please see our parents or the building staff if you need directions to the accessible restrooms.
Of course! There will be a super tasty buffet with options for vegan and vegetarian guests. (And plenty of dessert!)
