The Wedding Website of Anna Cohen and Sarah Johnson
Here are some travel tips to get to the beautiful island of Martha's Vineyard. Feel free to reach out to us for travel coaching. We want to make sure you're all able to be there celebrating with us! The island is only accessible by ferry or plane, so you'll want to make arrangements for one of those options. If you want to bring your car on the ferry, you will need to make a reservation well in advance. Once you're on the island, make your way to the town of Aquinnah for the wedding. We're getting married in a beautiful remote field, and will send you an email with detailed instructions on how to get there closer to the date. You are welcome to join us on the island for the whole weekend, take a day trip just for the wedding day, or anything in-between. We'll time the wedding so that you can make it home on the last ferry if needed.

Travel Note

How do I get to Martha's Vineyard??

Here is a website that lays out a whole lot of options, depending where you are coming from. We can answer your questions, too!

Travel Note

Car pooling

It is a lot cheaper to get a walk-on ticket for the ferry than a car. We recommend car pooling when possible. If you're interested in connecting with folks for a carpool, reach out and we can put you in touch.

Travel Note

On-Island Bus

You can catch the bus directly from the ferry terminal. Bring cash in small bills if you plan to take the bus. The bus drivers are used to tourists not knowing how to get around, so tell the driver you need to get to Aquinnah. You will have to transfer busses to get there, but the drivers will coach you. Tell them to drop you off at 415 State Road, you can describe it as being shortly before the junction of Moshup Trail and State Road. We will have signs posted by the side of the road, so the bus driver can also look out for the signs. More information and bus schedules below.

Rental Transportation
