Our wedding will be held entirely outdoors, and we are expecting around 35 adults and 6 children. We ask that all eligible guests be fully vaccinated to attend. If you're able to get a COVID test ahead of time, we'd appreciate it! If you are not comfortable attending in-person, we completely understand and will think of you during our celebration. We hope you all stay safe and well!
If you need to park a car, please park it at 437 State Road, Anna's Family's house, and then follow the signs to walk to the ceremony and reception, which take place at the same location. If you need to drive in to the ceremony and reception site for accessibility reasons, drive in the driveway at 415 State Road and follow the signs.
Please let us know your dietary needs ahead of time so we can make sure you have plenty of food to eat!
We're calling it beach formal. Dress up as much as is fun for you, but plan to be outside for the duration of the afternoon. You may want to frolic through the meadow or walk down the path to the beach, so wear something you can move in, and take this into account when selecting footwear. The weather could do anything in the fall in New England, so bring layers and check the forecast. You may also want to bring a bathing suit!
If you will need a ride, reach out to us and we may be able to connect you with other guests for carpooling. There is a bus that can drop you at the end of the driveway, so let us know if you'd like more bus info. The bus runs on the hour.
The ceremony is scheduled to begin at one. We recommend arriving with plenty of time to park your car and walk the path to get to the ceremony site. We will have lots of signage, but it can be confusing, so you may want to give yourself a little extra time.
We're starting our wedding earlier in the day to make sure that folks who don't plan to stay overnight on the island can be there for all our most magical moments before heading home. To make sure you catch the boat, we recommend leaving the wedding 50 minutes before your ferry if you are driving to the ferry terminal. If you are taking the bus to the terminal, check back with us closer to the date of the wedding. Once the 2021 September bus schedule is posted, we will map out a route and tell you exactly what bus and ferry to catch. Let us know if you plan to catch a ferry the night of the wedding ahead of time, and we can make sure you have reminders to leave when necessary!
