How we met

From the middle school car-rider line to saying "I Do"

It was March of 2011, Brandon was a sophomore in high school and I was an eighth grader stuck in middle school. We met at the Anchor Lanes bowling alley of Irmo, SC through some mutual friends of ours. Personally, I was a terrible bowler and although it might seem cheesy, Brandon asked me to bowl a round for him and I rolled my one and only strike of the night. After leaving the bowling alley, we talked on the phone for hours, just like we've known each other for years. About two weeks later, Brandon took me on our first date to meet his parents. When he took me home that night, he walked me up to my front door, kissed me on my forehead and said "good night beautiful." I knew from that moment on, Brandon was not like the rest; he was destined to be my forever. After spending so many years together, through high school, going to different colleges, and Brandon committing much of his time with the Braves, we are so excited to finally tie the knot and spend the rest of our lives together.

The Proposal

01/26/2019

What a beautiful night this was. As I thought we were just having an ordinary weekend spent with our friends, I was completely shocked to find out that Brandon was to ask to spend forever with me. He strung lights all around the trees in his backyard, set beautifully lit paper bags that read, "Will you marry me" along his porch and placed lights that would lead me straight to him. As I stepped out of the car, I saw the lights and I immediately knew what that meant - as I said before, I was in total shock! I turned the corner to find Brandon with the warmest smile on his face, just waiting for me to meet him; he got down on his knee and asked for my hand in marriage. After we sealed with a kiss, he amazed me even more! All of our friends and family had been watching from the side of the house in silence, just waiting for me to say yes! Needless to say, this night will forever be one of our favorite nights!
