The Salt Cathedral of Zipaquirá (Spanish: Catedral de Sal de Zipaquirá) is an underground Roman Catholic church built within the tunnels of a salt mine 660 ft underground in a halite mountain near the city of Zipaquirá, in Cundinamarca, Colombia. This is one of the places that my family and I got to bring Jose to visit when we came to Bogotá in 2022. *There is a train to Zipaquirá that usually runs on Sunday that leaves from Usaquén at 9am and returns to Bogotá at 4pm.
