Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by 1st April 2019. As we're abroad, we need extra time to get everything sorted.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Ceremony guests should arrive at the venue between 12:30pm - 1pm. Reception guests are welcome to join from 8pm.

Can I bring a plus 1?

Answer

We've chosen to have a small and intimate wedding ceremony and meal so unless specifically invited, there are no additional plus 1s. However, for the reception, we are happy for you to bring extra guests providing we are notified in advance when you RSVP.

Are children welcome?

Answer

Yes - children are welcome as long as they are on their best behaviour!

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

It may be August, but it's still Scotland so depending on the day the ceremony could be indoors or outdoors.

Can I take photos?

Answer

We'd love for you to take photos throughout the day, but ask that during the ceremony phones and cameras are kept away as we have a lovely professional photographer & videographer capturing every moment.

Is any transportation provided?

Answer

As the majority of guests will be staying at the venue, this is not something we are organising. If you are not staying at the venue, there is parking available or there are a number of taxi companies you can book through - you can find details of these in the travel and accommodation section.

Where should I stay?

Answer

There are a number of rooms at the venue that have been blocked for guests. These are limited and must be booked through us. Alternative options for those who have not yet reserved can be found in the travel and accommodation section.

Is there parking at the venue?

There's plenty of parking, don't worry!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes - please let us know when you RSVP. If you have already completed your RSVP please contact Stacey or Oliver directly.

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

Of course, wedding gifts would be lovely, but as Emirates only allow 30kg of luggage allowance it's a little challenging for us to get them back home. We're also lucky enough to already be set up and have everything we need in Dubai. As cliche as it sounds, your presence really is better than any presents, and we're just very happy that everyone is making the effort to be a part of our day! If you really do insist to get something - we're planning an epic honeymoon in Zanzibar straight after the wedding and US Dollars would go towards making our first trip as newlyweds extra special!
