Cave of the Winds is a cave in the Pikes Peak region of Colorado. It is located just west of Colorado Springs on U.S. Highway 24, near the Manitou Cliff Dwellings. Tours of the complex of caves are given daily.

The Manitou Cliff Dwellings are a group of relocated Ancestral Puebloan cliff dwellings and museums located just west of Colorado Springs, Colorado, on U.S. Highway 24 in Manitou Springs. The Anasazi Museum was established and the cliff dwellings were built starting in 1904, and were opened to the public in 1907

The Incline

The Manitou Springs Incline is an extremely difficult hike that gains almost 2,000 vertical feet in about one mile. It can be completed by Olympic athletes in around 20 minutes, but it can take anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours for those who are not in peak shape.

Even to journey to the falls is a treat — affectionately known as “the grandest mile of scenery”, the approach to Seven Falls is surrounded on every side by Colorado’s mountain beauty making you feel like you’ve stumbled upon a very special secret. The natural box canyon that creates the falls’ breathtaking drop is flanked by the Pillars of Hercules, which rise nearly 900 feet above the ground, welcoming you to adventure.
