Flight
This airport offers the most flight options from the USA. It is about 1.5 hours from town. Be sure to book your shuttle via BajioGo in advance (see below for more details). If you are joining us from the Bay Area we would recommend flying direct via Volaris (a popular Mexican airline) priced at $267.73 roundtrip with carryon baggage as of 5/27. Here are the flight details: -departing Wednesday, March 4th from OAK at 9:20pm arriving in BJX at 3:11am (direct flight 3 hours and 51 minutes) (similar flight on Tuesday if you are looking for a longer trip) -returning Sunday, March 8 from BJX at 8:07am arriving in OAK at 11:00am (direct flight 3 hours 53 min)
Flight
While we've found the most flights out into BJX it is always worth checking both locations for the best price and times from your city.
Flight
Given Mexico City is only a three hour luxury bus away (we did it ourselves and found it easy and enjoyable) we'd highly recommend extending your trip. Most major cities in the USA have direct and affordable flights.
Travel Note
This is a trusted shuttle service to use to and from BJX or QRO. On our visit to San Miguel de Allende, they picked us up at 4am to get to our outgoing flight on time. Highly recommend.
