When should I RSVP ?

Answer

We kindly ask that you submit your RSVP as soon as possible. Your prompt response will help us finalize our plans and ensure everything is perfect for our celebration. Thank you! RSVP by July 20, 2026 on the “RSVP” section.

Are children welcome ?

Answer

We are planning an adult only celebration. If your children are specifically invited, you will see their names included on the invitation. Thank you for understanding! If you are in need of Babysitting service in your hotel, please contact your concierge at Frontdesk or please contact Kangaroo babysitting with Maura info@babysitting.com.mx

Which airport do we fly into to get to Playa del Carmen, Mexico?

Answer

We recommend flying into the Cancun airport. Distance Playa del Carmen from Airport about 45 minutes. Airport Code is CUN. A passport is required to travel to Mexico. Visitors from the USA no visa is required but guests with passports from other countries please check your Visa requirements with your national embassy.

Can I bring a guest?

We truly wish we could celebrate with everyone, but due to venue limitations, we are only able to accommodate guest who are named on the invitation. Thank you for understanding and for being a special part of our day!

Is transportation provided to the wedding location ?

Answer

Transportation will be provided from the Hotel and at the end of the wedding. If you are staying elsewhere you can use a Taxi Service to get to Villa la Joya. If you would like to go back to your hotel before the wedding ends, you can always ask our Wedding Coordinators to call a taxi for you, they will gladly help you. Please remember that UBER-service or Cabify is not available in the Riviera Maya. Taxis are available and ONLY accept CASH ( Mexican Pesos or USD)

What is the wedding attire ?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests avoid wearing black attire as we’re hoping for a bright and joyful celebration. The Villa la Joya will not have any areas that will require the guests to walk on sand. The Ceremony and reception is outside and it can be windy at times so we do suggest for women to take that into consideration when choosing a hairstyle. Check out the “attire” section for some inspo!
