FAQs

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to the limited size of the venue, we ask that all guests refrain from bringing a "plus one" unless your invitation that you received mentions them by name. Ex. Aaron and Dana Dailey

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Absolutely! For small children (ages newborn-5), we will have child care available during the wedding ceremony, and the children can join us for the fun during the reception. Due to the limited size of the venue, if we did not list your older child on the invite, we ask that you take this opportunity to just enjoy yourself and your invited significant other.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No. Since there is no central location, there will not be any transportation provided to and from the ceremony. For those staying in the same location or close by one another, we recommend car pooling to the wedding and reception.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! Please dress business casual or above. Collared shirts (polos or button downs are ok), as well as no blue jeans. However, no need to overdress, this is not a cocktail party or a black tie event. Suits and tuxedos may be a bit much.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please see our travel tab that is on our website. We have no particular recommendations, choose the hotel/Airbnb that is best for your budget and serves you best location wise.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Since Jamie is moving into Emma's furnished apartment, we would love for you to contribute to our honeymoon in the San Bernardino Mountains. On the registry page there is a "Honeymoon Fund" to contribute to using a credit or debit card. Or you can drop off a card on the day of the wedding! We also have registered for a few items on Amazon, and that is on the registry tab too!

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony itself will be indoors (unheated) and the reception will be in an enclosed tent. December in San Diego can range between 50-75 degrees so layers are a good idea--and keep an eye on the forecast before packing. Comfortable, flat shoes are also recommended!
