'Yaking on the Platte River

Black tie optional - but probably bring a bathing suit.
Bring your kayaks or canoes, coolers, snacks and more importantly, bring your beer! No glass bottles! Float leisurely down the Platte River and end in the beautiful Lake Michigan. We will be meeting in the parking lot of 44.712449, -86.119533. For those who do not have a floating device, kayaks or canoes can be rented at Riverside Canoe Trips. Plan on the trip being a few hours, especially if you're drinking.

Hang out at the Lake Ann Brewery for live music and good beer. Guests can hang out with other guests at the Brewery and the wedding party will try to arrive shortly after 8:00 PM. If you are hungry you can support a local business and order pizza from The Stone Oven!

Ceremony
3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
The ceremony will take place in the shadow of a tall beautiful pine forest near Lake Ann. This is an outdoor ceremony and may experience variable weather conditions so please plan and dress accordingly. There is no pavement in the area so make sure you wear the right type of shoes. Parking will be located in a field close to the location of the ceremony.

Cocktail hour begins at 5:00 with beer provided by Lake Ann Brewery. Wine will also be served. Light snacks and a cookies will be available to munch on. Dinner will be served at 6:00 pm followed by dancing with music by the Broom Closet Boys.
