Wedding Party

We are blessed with the best people to stand at our side as we enter this new adventure, our chosen family! Feel free to read up on the people who have contributed in making us who we are today & are devoted to walking with us through this next chapter.

Clare Klinksick

Maid of Honor

If there is anyone who can say she has seen all of Sophie's awkward phases, it's Clare. Being only 9 months younger than Sophie, these two grew up like twin sisters. This bride knows that she will always have a place in this world next to Clare. Clare loves cows, western clothing, and sports. She has always been the blue to Sophie's pink, laugh to Sophie's joke, and calm in her storm. Clare constantly teaches Sophie new things, like how to show up for people even when it’s hard, how to be strong in adversity, and when to just breathe and let God do the work. Fun Fact: Clare owns a mobile boutique that she runs out of the cutest box trailer!

Eva Bures

Bridesmaid

Eva is the wind beneath Sophie's wings. There is never a dull (or quiet) moment when the two are together. Eva is the easiest friend Sophie has ever made, and makes her feel more seen than anyone else. She has the best sad-girl playlists, loves Noah Kahan, and will stand for HOURS in any weather for a concert. Eva loves music, cats, and Jesus as much as Sophie does, and is a huge part of her support system. Fun Fact: Eva is crazy talented at almost everything. Including: tumbling, dancing, arts & crafts, and being a really good friend.

Michael Johannes

Best Man

Michael and Dakota met at Manhattan Christian College after both transferring after their Sophomore year. They were fast friends their first year as roommates and were always doing something together, whether it was going to Aggieville to get signatures on a cowboy hat, spending way too much money on sports cards, or needing to borrow a text book because the other didn't want to buy it. Dakota remembers those crazy late night McDonald's and Raising Canes runs very fondly. Michael is an avid Kansas City Chiefs and Dallas Mavericks fan, and knows something about being a champion. Michael is also a Youth Pastor in Haven, KS with a large group of students who are passionate about knowing the Lord. Michael has an amazing wife Rebecca, who also helps him in his ministry. Fun Fact: Michael has 2 dogs, a dachshund named Reggie and a beagle/pitt mix named Remi.

Justin Fleer

Usher

Justin is Sophie’s younger (and only) brother who is always down for a good time. He comes equipped with the best dance moves, most chill energy, and a love for basketball that surpasses any passion Sophie ever had for sports. This sibling duo could not be more opposite, but always come together over a trip to Sonic or a late night conversation.

Clayton Fox

Usher

Clayton is the middle son of the Fox brothers, and is always there with a joke or a quick remark. He enjoys working out, fishing, and just about anything else with the people he loves. He jokes he will be sick on the wedding day, but we really hope he can make it.

Jackson Fox

Usher

Jackson is the kid brother of Dakota, and keeps us all young. His love for and commitment to baseball has us all impressed, as he spends most of his free time dedicated to the sport. He is Dakota’s mini-me and has too many funny photos that we could have used here, but opted not to.

Jeremy McNeice

Officiant

Jeremy and his wife Caitlin have served as great friends and voices of guidance for Dakota and Sophie throughout their relationship. Jeremy currently serves as the Associate/Worship Pastor at Pathway Christian Church, working alongside Dakota. Dakota and Sophie enjoy weekly dinners at the McNeice's, and could not be more grateful for their friendship. Asking Jeremy to officiate their wedding was the easiest wedding decision this couple made.

Averie Gray

Flower Girl
