FAQs

If you have any more questions that were not answered here, please feel free to contact us personally. If it is the day of the wedding, please contact our wedding day-of coordinator.
Question

Will there be any form of transportation the day of the wedding?

Answer

We want all of our guests to let loose and have fun! Therefore, we will be providing transportation between the hours of 9-11PM the evening of the wedding to transport you back to your hotel, residence, etc. However, you will be responsible for your transportation to the wedding and picking up your car the next day if necessary.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to be seated before the ceremony begins and allow yourself time to sign our guestbook and get settled. The processional will begin right at 2:30 PM.

Question

What does an unplugged ceremony mean? Why is it important?

Answer

An unplugged ceremony means that we are asking for all guests (family included) to turn off their mobile devices (phones, iPads, cameras, etc.) during the ceremony. This is important to us because we would like our guests to be present with us as we exchange our vows. This also allows for our media team (videographers and photographers) to capture all important moments during the ceremony uninterrupted. Don’t worry though, bring out your phones and cameras during the reception. Photos and videos during that point is encouraged!

Question

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The couple opted to have all of their wedding events in the same location. During the shift from ceremony to reception, there will be a break for our cocktail hour. Our wedding will be hosted at the venue "Amor on the River" and is hosted in a beautiful red barn on the Mississippi River in Scott City, MO. Please refer to the Tab "Schedule" for more information as well as the address.

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

We are asking that everyone wear semi-formal/cocktail attire (no jeans please!) Keep in mind that we are having a December wedding, so we recommend bringing a jacket or wearing something cozy! Our wedding is very much inspired by deeper fall/winter color tones including Maroon, Dark Green, and Navy in case you need inspiration on what colors to wear.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation includes "guest" that indicates you are able to bring a plus one. If that is the case, please include their name and information when you RSVP on the RSVP tab of this website!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Of course! If you have any food allergies or other food accommodations, please contact the bride or groom before the final RSVP date deadline.

Question

Who should I contact the day of the wedding if I have any questions?

Answer

Our day-of coordinator will be the perfect person to answer all questions on our wedding day. We ask that you contact her or a family member, and try to avoid calling the bride and groom if possible. Our coordinators contact information will be listed here once we are closer to our wedding date.

Question

What should I expect of bar service?

Answer

We will be having a partial open bar with complimentary beer & wine gifted by the hosts. Mixed drinks and liquor products are available for additional purchase in the form of a cash bar if requested.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

The couple is registered at Amazon, Target, & Crate and Barrel. Direct links to the registry can be found under the “registry” tab!

Question

What is your plan for Covid-19?

Answer

As of now, we are following local guidelines when addressing Covid-19 and are taking into consideration the safety and health of guests. Currently, we have decided to move forward with hosting the wedding and reception. We highly encourage our friends and family who plan to be in attendance to be fully vaccinated by the wedding date or receive a negative Covid-19 test before attending if willing. We will update as we learn more in the following months.
