Flower Girl
Our daughter, Mila, is the brightest, sweetest, most beautiful little 7-year-old you will ever meet. She is in the second grade this year and has taken a huge interest in dance, making the "pre-competition" team this year. Mila is the most loving, motherly sister to Rory and Lana. We feel like the luckiest parents in the world to call her our daughter.
Ring Bearer
Our son, Rory, is truly our little "baby man." He is such a cuddle bug and sweetheart. He will be turning 5 this October and began preschool this year (which he has been looking forward to for the past two years). Rory is FULL of energy, radiates love, and is such a funny kiddo. He is truly such a gem and we feel SO lucky and honored to be his parents.
Flower Girl
Our little baby girl, Lana (aka Belle), is such a ray of sunshine in this world. She is bubbly, happy, so beautiful, and the most laid-back little babe you'll ever have the privilege of knowing. Lana just celebrated her first birthday this past March, but already has SO much personality. She is truly an angel and words cannot express how grateful we are to have her as our daughter.
Maid of Honor
Kallie and Katie met while bartending together at O'Tooles, but it didn't stop there! Katie and Kallie have also worked at Lucy's (in Grand Haven, where Katie also worked with Ryan), Social Misfits, The Foolery, and 20 Monroe Live together! So, it's safe to say that they get along swimmingly. Katie now lives part time in GR and part time in NYC, running a stage management company and traveling the country ensuring that musicians on tour have everything they need and making sure that every show runs exactly as planned. Not only is Katie a serious girl boss, but she has been a tremendous support for Kallie throughout the years. She is the definition of a true friend. Kallie couldn't imagine anyone else to be a better fit for this role and words cannot express her gratitude for this amazing woman that she calls her best friend.
Bridesmaid
Kallie and Miranda (Dallas) met at O'Tooles, where she was her general manager. The two of them became very close, especially once their daughters became friends as well! Dallas is a jack-of-all trades. She is a mother of two, a luxury picnic business owner (GR Picnic Chick), an event planner and wedding coordinator, and wedding bartender. Dallas has had Kallie bartend various events with/for her and Kallie has hired Dallas for her picnic services (which btw, Dallas does an amazing job- if you're ever looking for a date night or special event, look no further). Not only is Dallas talented and hardworking, but she is also the life of the party, undeniably kind, and unconditionally supportive and understanding. Kallie feels extremely honored to have her by her standing by her side on this big day!
Bridesmaid
Kendall and Kallie have been best friends since high school. They were even each other's dates for both homecoming and prom one year! Kendall just had her own wedding last year, and planned it in less than four months! Kendall is described as the most genuine, kind, generous, and humble human being that Kallie knows. Kendall is a woman of strong faith, even traveling to Israel in 2023 to spread the gospel and visit the Holy land. Kendall will also become a mother this spring to her first child. She is truly such an admirable woman and Kallie is overjoyed to have her on her wedding day team.
Bridesmaid
Rachel and Kallie met while bartending together at O'Toole's, and have been close friends ever since. Rachel and Kallie are yin and yang (Aries and Libra) but they mesh so well. Rachel is now relocated to Detroit, MI, but they always look forward to the times that they are able to spend together. Rachel is a strong woman and the kind of person you can truly rely on. Rachel adamantly fights for her beliefs, advocates for others, and builds up those around her. She is loving, fun, and SO personable! To know her is to love her! Kallie is SO honored to know her, let alone have Rachel as a support for such a big moment in her life.
Bridesmaid
Becca and Kallie met through Ryan, as Becca and Ryan have had a long-standing friendship (beginning in highschool). Quickly, Becca and Kallie became close as the two "girls of the group" for many of the group hangouts. Becca is very loving, fun, generous, and authentic. She was very welcoming and loving to Kallie and went out of her way to make Kallie feel included and cared for when she first met her. In addition, Ryan has stated that "Becca is such a dependable and kind person. Whenever you need a friend, she's the person you can trust to be by your side. She is the kind of person who sticks her neck out for others and is a good friend from day one." Kallie feels very fortunate to have met Becca and feels even more fortunate to have her by her side on this big day!
Bridesmaid
Madi is Ryan's sister and Kallie's soon-to-be sister-in-law. From the first day they met, Kallie felt that Madi was outgoing, sweet, loving, and just a kind human being overall. Madi has been such a great Auntie to Mila, Rory, and Lana- babysitting them, coming to all of their birthday parties and events, and even visiting Kallie and Ryan in the hospital right after Lana was born. Ryan describes Madi as "his best friend at home." She is so fun, easy-going, and can get along with anyone. He also mentioned how much it mattered to him that she was always so open-minded and took interest in his interests. Kallie and Ryan would both describe Madi as the most dependable, loving person. Kallie is so excited to become Madi's sister and is so grateful that she will be standing by her side during yet another pivotal point in both her and Ryan's lives.
Best Man
To Liam & Ryan's surprise, their friendship begins even earlier than they originally thought. It turns out that they played on the same soccer team WAY back in elementary school and did not know each other at the time. What a twist of fate that Ryan would end up having the honor of making Liam his best man 15-odd years later. Ryan describes him as the go-to guy for many of life's troubles. Liam is undeniably kind, patient, and loving. Liam has been there for Ryan in both his lowest and highest moments and has always welcomed Ryan into his life with open arms. The same can be said for his family, who has been amazing to Ryan since his childhood. Kallie also states that she believes Liam to be a "golden-hearted" man of strong faith, who has treated her like his sister since they met. Overall, the couple is overjoyed that Liam could play such a big role in their wedding day and are eternally grateful for his friendship.
Officiant
Anthony and Ryan have been friends since they began preschool. From day one, they hit it off and never looked back. From sneaking toys to elementary everyday, to doing Science Olympiad together in middle school, countless play-dates, and much more throughout the high school and college eras. Anthony is dependable, kind, steady, hilarious, loving, and a friend that Ryan wouldn't ever replace. Kallie shares similar sentiments, stating that Anthony is the most loving, funny, supportive friend a person could wish for. They both feel exceptionally lucky to have him act as their wedding celebrant.
Groomsman
Ryan and Austin met in band class back in fifth grade and have been the best of friends ever since. There are countless fond memories that the two share, from learning their first song together in band class (the song was "Zombie Stomp") to hanging out daily in college, Austin has been there for Ryan through all of life's big moments. Austin is well-loved by all those who know him; the most impressive of which is Ryan's dog, Piper, who is not fond of many. Austin was the first friend who gained her love and approval. But even now, Austin shares a special bond with each of Ryan and Kallie's children, which means so much to them. This is undoubtedly because he is so kind, fun, friendly, and patient. Not only that, but Ryan regards Austin as the most considerate and caring person he knows, as he even once walked over 3 miles with Ryan to see the Coastguard fireworks, just so that he didn't have to walk alone. Kallie also shares that she believes Austin to be extremely supportive, non judgmental, and genuine and she feels very lucky to have the opportunity to form a friendship with him as well. Ryan feels an overwhelming sense of gratitude for, not only his friendship with Austin, but also that he will stand up in support of Ryan on this very important day.
Groomsman
Alec and Ryan have been friends for nearly a decade, but have only grown closer as the years have passed. He, Ryan, and Liam all lived together in their junior year of college, which was undoubtedly when their friendship really took off and grew into what it is today. Alec is the type of friend that will give the best advice (even if you don't want to hear it), puts his whole self into helping and supporting his friends, and will stick by your side no matter what. You can also count on him for a good laugh whenever you need one. Ryan says that he and Alec get along because they share a love for rocket league, MSU, football, and being the best friend that they can be. Kallie describes Alec as incredibly intelligent, loyal, and easy to talk to. She states that he is such a good shoulder to lean on during any of life's challenges. The couple couldn't be more thrilled that Alec is going to be a part of their wedding in such an important way. If he's even half as good a groomsman as he is a friend, then they know that having him by their side will make their wedding absolutely exceptional.
Groomsman
Sam and Ryan have been best friends since the beginning of high school, and their friendship hasn't wavered since. Sam has always been the most fun-loving, kind-hearted, absolute joy to be around. Ryan states that he showed him that "there's a lot of fun to be had in life and nothing should hold you back from that." Ryan also credits Sam for being his first non-family member roommate and stated that they learned a lot about life together, but also said that he couldn't have picked a better friend to room with. Ryan forever cherishes their time living together and feels that he became a better, more well-rounded person by having Sam in his life. Sam currently lives and works in Witchita, KS, but makes it a point to come and see the couple whenever possible. He was among the first of their friends to meet their youngest daughter, Lana, and goes out of his way to take an interest in Ryan's family's lives. He is the definition of an open-minded, loving person and Ryan is so honored and grateful that he will be on Team Groom come wedding day.
Groomsman
When Aidan moved to Grand Haven from CO, Ryan became his first friend, although it didn't take him long to find more friends as well, because Aidan is without a doubt one of the most outgoing, friendly, likable people you may ever have the privilege of meeting. Ryan states that Aidan is the type of guy who, no matter the circumstance, would drop everything to be with you or be there for you. Whether it be for simple company or your house is burning down, Aidan will be there with either a conversation or a bucket full of water. Kallie shares these feelings about Aidan, stating she can count on him for the most honest opinions, the biggest hugs, and making her laugh so much that her stomach hurts. In addition, Aidan is the most sweet, fun "uncle" of the couple's children, who love Aidan SO dearly. For Aidan to be a part of our wedding means more than we could ever express in words! The guy who is there for them through everything, once again stands in support of Ryan on one of his biggest days. They feel so grateful to have him in their lives.
Groomsman
Ryan and Ian have known each other since high school, but really became best friends in college when he would come to visit almost every single weekend it seemed. Ian has shown every quality that you could ever want in a friend- from being outrageously funny to being the one guy who would come build our shed in the cold and in the dark- and Ryan couldn't be more grateful that their friendship has grown into what it is today. He is smart, he is the life of the party, he is giving, he is selfless, he is kind. There isn't much more you could wish for. Ian currently works at Corewell Health on night shift, but it never stops him from being there for the couple. He has also embraced "unclehood" even bringing gifts to the couple's son, Rory, for his birthday. Kallie describes Ian as "so easy going," "reliable," and such a "considerate, stand-up guy." Ryan and Kallie both feel tremendous gratitude, not only to call him a friend, but also because he chose to be there for them in such a big way on this very special day.
Usher
Alec is Kallie's brother and is undoubtedly the smartest guy you will ever meet. He currently is obtaining his PhD in Astrophysics at MSU, holds the title of "National Rookie of The Year 2022" in MSU Club Dodgeball, is an avid chess player, and is in the top 1% of Battlefront players worldwide. The only thing he didn't win at, is being the coolest, most good-looking sibling (Kallie won that, sorry bud)! But, Alec is also extremely honest, supportive, and loving. He is the most cuddly guy you'll ever meet (like one of those great Danes who think they are a lap dog). Kallie loves and is so grateful to have him, and feels even luckier to have him stand in for our father on her biggest day.
Usher
Dominik is Kallie's youngest brother and is (without a doubt) the golden child of the family. He currently plays baseball at Kalamazoo Valley Community College and hopes to go to a D1 school next fall. Despite their large age-gap (almost 10 years) Kallie and Dominik are thick as thieves. Kallie feels that she can talk to Dominik about anything and that they are the boy and girl version of each other. Dominik is EASILY the most outgoing, friendly, patient, and hardworking man you will ever meet. Kallie feels overwhelming gratitude to have him standing in for her father on her wedding day.
