We ask that you complete your RSVP by May 5th 2026. Because of our obligation to provide final count numbers to our various vendors, RSVP's after this date run the risk of not being accommodated. If you are not able to attend, we still ask that you RSVP "unable to attend" so that we do not worry that you may have been missed.
Our wedding dress code will be formal (Black-Tie Optional), meaning that we'd love for you to wear tuxes and gowns, but suits and dresses are also acceptable. Fabrics should be upscale and dressy (no cotton, denim, khakis). We ask that guests do not wear loud colors or bold patterns. Shorter hems are acceptable! This is not a casual event, however, meaning we request that you do not wear the following: sundresses, shorts, jeans, tee shirts, khaki pants, casual button downs, sneakers, tank tops, flip flops, jumpers, etc. Please keep in mind that this will be an outdoor venue, so the ground may not be solid and the temperature or weather may fluctuate. We also encourage guests to dress according to our color palette: pastel colors, black, tan, and grey are acceptable. Please see your formal invitation for further details on the color scheme.
In order to give all of our guests the chance to celebrate without little eyes and ears around, we will not be allowing children at this event. However, we do hope that invited adults are still able to attend.
Our wedding ceremony will begin at 3:30 pm. We suggest that you arrive at approximately 3:15 pm to make sure that you are able to park and find your seat. Guests should not arrive prior to 3 pm, as arriving this early is not necessary and staff may still be preparing the venue at this time.
In the event that you have an urgent question that must be answered on the day of the ceremony, we ask that you contact our Day-Of Wedding Coordinator, Patti (989) 493-1499, in lieu of the bride or groom. The happy couple will likely not be on their phones during this time and may not be able to respond to your calls or texts.
We kindly request that you do not take photos or videos of the event on your personal phone. Unfortunately, having your phone out during the ceremony can be unsightly in photos and is a distraction for both yourself and other guests. This is called an "unplugged ceremony" and we would expect that all of our loved ones are respectful of this request. We promise that we will share our formal photos when they are available!
Unfortunately, due to budget and vendor restraints, the guest list is limited to those who received a formal invitation. If a plus one is allotted, there will be a "plus one" card included in your invitation. If not, however, we won't be able to accommodate extra guests.
Yes! When you RSVP, there will be a question about any "special accommodations" in the meal category. Please indicate this allergy there.
We are! Our registry can be found on Amazon (linked on this website). In addition, there are various cash funds (Honeymoon Fund, etc.) which you may choose to contribute to, if you wish, right here on Zola!
Yes! There are a multitude of hotels located in and around the city of GR to choose from. Your preference based on price, location, and amenities is up to you. I have linked a fairly low-price, but very nice hotel options on our "Travel" tab. In addition, we will update this website with a hotel block and discount code by the end of January.
We do not currently have a formal mode of transportation to and from the wedding available, but there are many options for transportation in and around the city of Grand Rapids. Options include Uber, Lyft, Taxi Cabs, and the like. If this is something you are struggling with, please contact the bride (Kallie Pliml, 616.881.2044) for further assistance.
There sure is! There are plenty of spaces to park at the venue and across the street from it.
