As children, our paths crossed in small, fleeting moments, on the t-ball field, in kindergarten on the playground, and once in the Publix deli aisle, where he stood in a Monster Energy hat, dancing to Gangnam Style without a care in the world. As we walked away, my mom smiled and said, “He’s going to be your husband one day.” At the time, it felt like a joke but somehow, it became a promise life would keep. Years later, in 8th grade, that quiet thread between us turned into something real. We grew up side by side, navigating young love with all its ups and downs. No matter how many times life pulled us in different directions, we could never truly let each other go. Our hearts always found their way back. After high school, we spent some time apart, but even then, something was missing. Two years later, we found each other again, and this time, everything felt certain. What we had wasn’t just history...it was home. Since then, we’ve built a life rooted in friendship, trust, and a love that has only grown stronger with time.
