What airline are people flying?
Answer
There will be a number of people flying out of both the Detroit and Flint airports. We will post common flight numbers when available. Our flight down to Tampa on April 28 is Delta DL 1501 departing Detroit at 10:49 am.

What should we wear??

Many people have asked this question and the early feedback is that most people plan to wear formal attire HOWEVER formal beach attire is certainly acceptable as it will likely be warm and we’d rather you be comfortable!

How should we get to the hotel or back to the airport?
Answer
Being the hotel is a short distance from both Tampa International airport and St Pete - Clearwater International airport, unless you plan on site seeing we recommend taking a taxi, Uber, or Lyft; as almost all of the events will be at or near the hotel. During our visit in 2021, we had no issues getting an Uber or a Lyft in a timely manner.

Please feel free to book a hotel or Airbnb of your choosing, by no means is it required that you stay at the same hotel, there are a number of hotels all within walking distance that cover a range of pricing and amenities.

If you plan to arrive before 4pm, please be sure to call 48 hours prior and request an early check in; ALL of the hotels in the area have a strict check in policy.

Fusion Resort - Suites
Answer
Fusion offers 2 or 3 bedroom suites, equipped with separate living rooms, sleeper sofa, 2/3 bedrooms, along with 2 bathrooms. ALL rooms have spacious balcony with unobstructed water views. Rooms are setup like condos; ideal for sharing rooms with another couple should you choose to. (Website has virtual tours)

Room Block
Answer
Only Valid Until 3/29/21, code is “Tenny” The room block applies to preset day to day reservations so if the code isn’t working it’s likely because we filled the day to day rooms your are looking for BUT we can add more so let us know if you have trouble. To use the code go to the book link > enter group code > adjust dates as necessary > hit check availability and it will preview the reservation. Similar discounts are also available through Expedia (10%) and may be more flexible for single night or shorter duration stays.

Parking at the Fusion
Answer
Each room comes with 1 parking pass. Additional parking passes can be purchased for $25.00/night. The day of the wedding we will have 5 additional parking passes. Also there is a restaurant at the hotel so there is some understanding that people will park for a few hours here and there, and we don’t believe it’s something that is monitored all that closely other than overnight on busy weekends.
