We’re Getting Married!

We are so glad to announce the new and FINAL destination for our wedding! The new venue is located at Fusion Resort, Treasure Island FL (290 107th AVE, www.fusiontreasureisland.com). The resort is a short walk from Treasure Island Beach, on the intercoastal side of the island. Fusion is also only a few minutes from St Pete Beach, so if you have already made lodging arrangements there - no problem! You are a very short taxi or uber ride away. We were in St Pete during 3/4 - 3/7 and had no issues getting an uber in a timely fashion. The wedding ceremony will be onsite at Fusion Resort; immediately followed by our reception located on the 6th floor rooftop deck.

Bill and Amber were introduced through a mutual friend at a charity event that Amber was working at. Amber and Bill traded smiles and a few words early in the evening which then later led to the two dancing the night away at an after-party. Sometime after that the first date was planned, the excitement and anticipation was slightly hampered by Amber being involved in a minor car accident just few hours beforehand but nothing would stop her from their date! Amber rushed home to get ready and had a friend drop her off at the restaurant for their date. This is where it all began.

From then on they were inseparable; spending all their weekends together. They traveled to California, Arizona, Colorado, & along with many other adventures. Bill taught Amber how to ski, golf, and wake-surf. But by far boating is their favorite activity; they both live for the summer. May through September they live the lake life & would not have it any other way. Sunshine, waves, along with good friends & family on the lake is where they find true happiness together.

Of course it was on a lake! They went for a summer evening boat ride and swim, as the sun set Bill got down on one knee and asked Amber to marry him. Amber responded, "yes a million time yes!"
