Love Runs Deep

Parking: Complimentary parking will be provided at the Republic Parking Garage, located at 1422 Alaskan Way. Parking will be available for wedding guests beginning at 6 PM and Aquarium staff will provide vouchers to guests as they exit the event. The parking is about a 5 minute walk from the Aquarium. Mask: Masks will be required for guests during the ceremony and when not actively eating. Arrival/Ceremony Start: Venue doors will open at 6:30 PM so please arrive as close to this time as possible. The ceremony will start at 6:50.

Madeline and Eamonn met in marching band at Inglemoor High School and had a lot of mutual friends, but didn’t truly connect until they were both in college at the University of Washington. The couple happened to have classes near each other, and one day while chatting, they stumbled upon the fact that they both wanted to see the new Frozen movie and have been together ever since.

For years, Eamonn’s family has taken a summer trip, white-water rafting the Rogue River in southwestern Oregon. In 2020, the stars finally aligned, and Madeline was able to join in the fun. While the couple had been looking at rings for a while, Madeline had no idea that Eamonn was planning a proposal on this journey. While relaxing at their camp site on the last evening of the trip, Madeline told Eamonn how excited she was to be married and start their life together. Ironically, Eamonn had a ring hidden in his pack. He said, “great!” and pulled it out. Madeline said yes, and they celebrated that evening with margaritas and rock music around the campfire with the rest of the rafting party!
