What are the COVID-19 precautions?

Answer

We are requiring that everyone in attendance be vaccinated [both doses of the first round vaccine, and a booster(s)]. We want to make sure that everyone is being and feeling safe at our event so that we can have the most fun.

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love kids, we love YOUR kids, but we want our wedding to be your night off! Invites are for adults only.

What's the dress code?

Semi-Formal Attire. No jeans or khakis please!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

IS THERE A SHUTTLE TO AND FROM THE HOTEL TO THE CEREMONY?

Is there parking at the wedding location?

Answer

Sure is! There will be plenty of parking if you decide to drive instead.

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Will There be Food Accommodations?

Answer

Please let us know on your RSVP card whether or not you would like accommodations for a vegetarian dinner at the wedding. Our cater has let us know that they would be happy to make sure there is something delicious there for everyone!

Where should I send my gift?

Answer

Because we are having a destination wedding, if you are so inclined to get us a gift we are asking that everyone send the item to our home in Seattle. Please do not bring it to the wedding in North Carolina. We will, however, have a space for cards. Items listed on our registry are already set up to be shipped directly to us, so that saves you a worry!

Is there Uber in the area?

Answer

No, there is no Uber in Forest City/ Union Mills area. While there are public and private transportation options in Asheville and Charlotte, we were told by the hotel in the area that there is just 1 taxi in the area. - See the Transportation page for information on a more affordable alternative to traditional car rentals.
