A good place to stay, a good place to grab lunch! We hear there's a tiki bar and food truck in the summer.
Sand Dollar Bar & Grille
There are lots of great spots to stop for lunch, this is one of them!
SoMe Brewing Company
No that's not a typo, SoMe stands for Southern Maine. York's first brewery! We recommend getting a flight, can't choose just one!
York Beach Dairy Bar
Tons of good ice cream around York. In addition to the Beach Dairy Bar there's Sweet Josie's (also a candy shop), Oceanside Store, Dunne's (most variety), and the York Beach Bucket (gelato).
Cliff House Maine
If you're looking to relax and be pampered and are staying a bit longer than just the wedding day- stop by cliff house! Their spa books up well in advance because it is so highly recommended. Guests can also stay here, although its about 22 minutes from the reception venue.
Fisherman's Walk
An easy stroll, very scenic with access to the "wiggly bridge."
Liquid Dreams Surf Shop
Got a little extra time? This shop offers surf, stand up paddle board and kayak rentals or lessons!
Long Sands Beach
Pretty self-explanatory, go to the beach! Soak up the sun! Wear sunscreen!
Mount Agamenticus
John and Christine did this hike during their first trip to York. It's 1.7 miles and pretty easy to moderate with some beautiful views. Bring bug spray!
York Harbor Beach
A beach more for the locals, right next to the reception venue. Has bathrooms and a cliff walk!
