What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat. NO JEANS!

Is there any colors that I should not wear?

Answer

Please do not wear any shade of White or Ivory. These colors are for the bride only!

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

The weather may be a little cold. The average temperature for October for Metro Detroit is 67°F to 55°F. However, our wedding ceremony and reception will be in doors!

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony will be inside at Rockpointe Community Church. The Reception will also be inside at the Carpathia Club. The Carpathia Club is right next door to Rockpointe Community Church!

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. More information to come about what guest can do doing this time.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be 12+ in age event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If you invitation includes + Guest you may bring 1 person with you but MUST RSVP them by the deadline on the RSVP card.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

We are working on reserving a block of hotel rooms at a few different location but have not settled on anything yet. We are finding that because of COVID many hotels don't want to give us a big price difference then what you would normally pay or they want us to pay a large fee. We are working to try to find a solution but if we are unable to please book what every hotel you feel comfortable with that is within your budget. We apologize for any inconvenience.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

Please RSVP by September 19th 2021. You can either send back the RSVP card or RSVP online. Please RSVP for your whole party!

Question

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

Our reception will include a buffet style dinner with 2 meats, a few sides, and salad. There will be an open bar with a few selections of soda and alcohol for free with options to purchase other drinks.

Where are you registered?

We are registered at Bed Bath and Beyond and myregistry.com. Please go to our Registry page to find links and more information.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #K&JMoua so we can keep track of all of your pictures!

I wasn't invited but can I still attend? I want to invite someone who wasn't invited can I?

Answer

Unfortunately we are on a tight budget that only allowed us to invite a certain number of guests. We ask that you be understanding and considerate of our decision and only attend if you RSVP and were invited.
