In March 2015, I met Tyler at San Jose State University. We could've crossed paths through mutual friends when we both lived in Michigan years prior, or when I noticed a tall, dark, and handsome man playing the guitar at his fraternity's serenade in 2014 and thought to myself "he must be popular with the ladiesss" (and it was Tyler!!). Instead, we met when the time was right. And the moment we did meet, we couldn't get enough of each other. We hung out for the rest of that night, had our first date two days later (and ended up having two dates in one day), and saw each other as much as we could for that first week together. Now it's 8 years later and I still want to spend every day with him. -- Monique -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To address Mo's earlier comment, I was popular with the ladies, but I was stopped dead in my tracks when I saw her for the first time. We casually passed each other on the staircase and something inside me said "You need to turn around and talk to that girl"... it is crazy how that small decision would pave the way for many happy years to come. Who knows where my life would be if I just kept walking the other direction. I gave her the royal treatment on our first (official) date... I cooked my famous dorm room chicken parmesan, which has earned three Michelin Stars over the years. Obviously, she agreed to date me after tasting that masterpiece. As Mo mentioned earlier, we couldn't get enough of each other. There were many late nights studying in the library, fun parties, spontaneous dates, and miscellaneous adventures that made me fall in love. Now it's 8 years later and I still want to spend every day with her. --Tyler
