Maya is Francesca's younger sister. Although Maya lives in New York, she and Francesca talk on the phone often to relive their days of reading Harry Potter books sides by side and binge watching terrible reality TV. Maya now lives in Long Island City where she is working on writing the second installment of her first published book, Nocturna.
Justin Hobgood
Best Man
Justin and Mike met in their first year at North Carolina A&T State University. They really first met when he let Mike invite himself out with Justin and his friends during what was Mike's first college adventure. That night Mike lost his wallet and glasses. Luckily, he picked up a lifelong friend.
Ashley McLean
Bridesmaid
Ashley is Mike's sister and Francesca's future sister-in -law. When Ashley isn't studying for medical school, she has been a great help to Francesca with helping plan and organize all wedding related events. Francesca is so excited to have gained another friend, and sister!
Jordon Alston
Groomsman
Jordon and Mike met in passing during their first year at A&T but became true friends after joining Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc in 2010. He was Mike's first landlord after college and one of his closest confidants. He's always been one of the few people who can convince Mike that a bad idea is a bad idea.
Laura Colburn
Bridesmaid
Laura is Francesca's friend from undergrad. They met at University of Maryland where they were next door neighbors in the freshman year dorms. It wasn't long before they took their relationship to the next level and moved in together, which they continued to do through out their time at UMD, and again as adults when they were roommates in Silver Spring. Francesca was recently a maid of honor at Laura's wedding and can't wait to return the favor for her own wedding!
CJ Crews
Groomsman
Mike and CJ met in passing without really meeting during a night out of their freshman year at A&T. Mike's really happy that CJ made it safely out of that situation and that he no longer wears dickie suits. (haha!) They still meet up in the DC area for happy hours and brunches whenever Francesca or Jasmine want a break.
Elena Motayne

Elena is Francesca's youngest sister. She is currently wrapping up the 8th grade at Hoover Middle (where Francesca went to school many years ago) and spends her time practicing the flute, studying for classes, and teaching Francesca the latest tik tok trends. Francesca can't wait to have her join her wedding party on the big day!
Tyler Alston
Groomsman
Tyler is Jordon's kid brother, but Mike knows him as "his son". Tyler moved to the DC area in 2017 and instantly became a part of the squad. Tyler and Mike are always hard at work trying to convince Jordon of one harebrained scheme or another.
Charlene Anguh
Bridesmaid
Charlene has been friends with Francesca since the fourth grade. They spent countless nights talking on the phone after 9 (when your minutes were free), watching Law and Order: SVU marathons, and riding the bus to and from school together. These days, Francesca and Charlene love spending happy hours together drinking wind and catching up on life.
Christopher Smith

Chris, or better to Mike known as Matt, are cousins. Matt has always been the yin to Mike's yin, two peas in a pod. Though they don't speak as regularly as they once did since his move to Orlando, the second they run into each other its like neither of they ever left.
Aubrey Ginn

Aubrey and Francesca have been friends since Aubrey was introduced as the new student in Ms. Tropello's fifth grade class. They were seated next to each other at the same table, and the rest is history! Francesca and Aubrey have continued to stay good friends through high school, college, and now in adult life. You can find Francesca and Aubrey spending time together at local wineries or running after her baby boys, Gavin and Luca.
Charles Bates III

Charles, or better to Mike known as Chaz, are cousins. Chaz has always been seen to Mike as a 3rd son of his father. Every birthday party or sleepover has a memory of Chaz, antics, and an iconic laugh.
