We currently have exactly 103 people confirmed to attend our ceremony and 89 confirmed for the reception (we LOVE and APPRECIATE your support MORE THAN YOU KNOW). We have no intention of reaching the 150 maximum but wanted to make you aware that we are no longer at risk of being fined or having our guests fined. With this information in mind, please let us know immediately if this changes your plans to attend either our ceremony or our reception. Thank you and all our love, Kait & Spencer
We were unable to get a shuttle from the hotel as Covid has stopped those from running at this time. What we can recommend is Uber or Lyft (it’s only 4 miles and the airport is nearby so there should not be a wait). For those of you planning on driving yourselves — we are asking that you park at Oliver Ellsworth Elementary School (730 Kennedy Road Windsor CT 06095). From the parking lot to our property is about .5 miles. We have two 6 person golf carts that will pick up and drop off at the parking lot. If you insist on parking on the street you are welcome to do so but we ask that you please do not block the Party Prep Tent! As always please email with any questions.
We are asking EVERY guest to stop by the Party Prep Tent have their temperature taken, get your own personal hand sanitizers to keep, and a mask should you want or need one. We believe this goes without saying but if you are showing signs and symptoms of Covid, have knowingly come in contact with anyone who has tested positive please refrain from attending our wedding. Anyone traveling from a red state has been asked to get Covid tested prior to attending the wedding and if possible get a test once arriving in CT. We hope some of these things can put your minds at ease but understand the decision you make to attend or not is not made easily and we love and respect you.
We are still working out the details of this but in all likelihood the answer is yes we will be live-streaming.
Executive Order Regarding Travel: Pursuant to Governor Lamont's Executive Order No. 7III, anyone traveling into Connecticut from a state that has a new daily positive test rate higher than 10 per 100,000 residents or a state with a 10% or higher positivity rate over a 7-day rolling average are directed to self-quarantine for a 14-day period from the time of last contact within the identified state. Please find more information regarding travel policies to Connecticut here: https://portal.ct.gov/Coronavirus/travel
Anyone traveling from what CT considers a red state who will not be in CT for 2 weeks prior to the event is being asked to have a Covid test. Everyone before entering the backyard will be temperature checked, asked to hand sanitize (and provided an individual hand sanitizer), and provided a mask. Guests are asked to remain masked during the wedding ceremony and vows. Guests are also asked to maintain a safe social distance of 6 feet from anyone not in their immediate household. The ceremony will be brief and seating will only be provided for certain guests, everyone else is asked to stand. Guests are encouraged to pick a table for dining after the ceremony with people they are comfortable with to dine. Tables will be set up throughout the venue at 6 foot distances. Guests are encouraged to dance at their tables and on their chairs!
