Always an adventure, Bryan and John have been through a lot together! Growing up they’d tell people they were cousins and no-one seemed to question it. Bryan has had a major impact on John and was one of the first supporters in John’s decision to go into Public Service.

One of John’s best friends since meeting in 9th grade Key Club! Jacob’s house was basically John’s second home growing up. Since that time, their friendship has grown from late night Taco Bell, hours (days) of video games played, to most recently, a podcast produced together. Jacob's genuine spirit is infectious and has been a positive influence on John and others.

Adele knows exactly how to push the people in her life towards excellence, which is exactly why she and Abigail have the relationship that they do. Adele's influence in Abigail's life and in John and Abigail's love story cannot be overstated!

Friends since high school, although their friendship grew in their late 20s (podcast). Oscar (Osh) is unafraid of the deep conversations; John knows that he can always talk to Osh about anything. The two have also shared many laughs and a number of rounds of golf together.

Ruby is John's niece - a spirited fireball of fun and competition. She's a helpful big sister and can make a friend in anybody.
