DOG OF HONOR
Named after Boston Bruins legend David Pastrňák, Pasta joined Sarah and Cole’s team on June 9th, 2018, and life hasn’t been the same since (in the absolute best way). She’s more than just a pet, she’s their child, sidekick, emotional support fluff, and constant source of joy. Pasta is equal parts energetic and goofy, always ready for a game of fetch or a wild zoom around the house. She has a very strong opinion about loud noises (hint: she hates them), which means Sarah and Cole have become expert tent builders, creating cozy little hideaways around the house just to keep her safe and snug. She’s fiercely loved, completely spoiled, and definitely knows she runs the show. And while she may not be walking down the aisle, she’s very much part of this celebration and the family they’ve built together.
MAID OF HONOR
Kaylee, known by Sarah as Kale is more than a bestfriend she’s the sister Sarah got to choose. The duo met during driver’s Ed. Sarah and Cole were taking the class together when they met Kaylee. First impressions? Let’s just say Sarah remembers Kaylee asking if she could take a roadkill animal home, and Kaylee remembers Sarah’s loud personality and extremely short shorts. Needless to say, they didn’t think they’d get along. But fate had other plans. Minutes after being warned not to jaywalk, they did just that..together..in front of their instructor. And just like that, their bond was sealed. Kaylee and Sarah have grown up side by side , from late nights and beach days, to Chatham Squire trips, and always dancing it out! They’ve finished each other’s sentences, held each other through heartbreaks and celebrations, and proven that time and distance can’t shake something this real. Even after Sarah moved to Michigan and Kaylee back to Texas, they always picked up right where they left off. This year, their already inseparable duo grew into an even more magical trio with the arrival of Kaylee’s daughter, Marlee Kay. Watching her become a mother has been one of Sarah’s greatest joys. A beautiful new chapter in a friendship that has already seen so many. Kaylee is more than a Maid of Honor, She’s a best friend, she’s family, a sister in Christ and the Christina Yang to Sarah’s Meredith Grey.
BEST MAN
Cole and Matt have been a package deal since the very beginning. Technically cousins, but in every way that truly matters they’ve always been brothers. Their childhoods were filled with memories of long, carefree days at the family cottage on Sunrise Lake in New Hampshire, road trips, hockey tournaments, and just hanging out doing absolutely nothing (which, somehow, is always a good time). Now it’s a mix of golf rounds after work, cracking jokes at each other’s expense, and beer league hockey games. Matt has always been a steady presence in Cole’s life, a confidant, a teammate, and the guy who knows all the stories. Through every phase of life, he’s been right there by Cole’s side, and it only makes sense that he’s standing beside him on this unforgettable day, too. To Sarah and Cole, having Matt here isn’t just special, it’s essential. Because some people are more than family. They’re part of your story.
GROOMSMAN
Cole and Brendan first met at Lawrence Tech while playing on the hockey team. As teammates, they just clicked. Whether it was perfect passes or unstoppable breakaways, they became that duo you could always count on! Off the ice? Same story. It didn’t take long for Cole and Brendan to realize they had a ton in common, especially when it came to their elite taste in TV shows. Star Wars, The Regular Show, and basically anything that involved deep lore or ridiculous comedy. By senior year, Brendan, Cole, and Sarah had unofficially formed the ultimate viewing squad. Whether it was geeking out over a new Mandalorian episode or dying laughing at Mordecai and Rigby, those nights turned into some of the best college memories. For Cole, having Brendan as a groomsman wasn’t even a choice, it was obvious. He’s been there for the big wins, the dumb moments, and everything in between. Sarah and Cole are beyond grateful to have him by their side on this day
Bridesmaid
Brooke has been there through the laughs, the love, and everything in between, which makes her the perfect person stand up with the couple on this special day. She is apart of their story. Brooke is Cole’s cousin, but they grew up more like siblings. Cole, ever the steady protector, always kept a watchful eye on Brooke and Brooke, ever full of joy and fire, made sure he never took life too seriously. Their bond runs deep, full of childhood memories, inside jokes, and unconditional loyalty. They’ve been there for each other through it all. Over the past 10+ years, Brooke and Sarah have shared faith, fashion, and endless laughter a friendship equal parts heartfelt and hilarious. Whether they’re talking about Jesus together or matching outfits without trying, they just get each other. And then there’s Wölffer.. more specifically, the non-alcoholic “Spring in a Bottle.” It’s become one of their unspoken love languages. If you ever see the two of them sipping spring in a bottle like it’s water, you’re witnessing a sacred ritual. Brooke brings a light wherever she goes, radiating kindness, sincerity, and a fearless love for life and Jesus. As such an important part of Sarah and Cole’s journey, she stands beside them today as a bridesmaid, a beautiful reflection of the love that surrounds them and the faith guiding their future.
GROOMSMAN
Jake and Cole first met at Lawrence Tech, where they played side-by-side on the hockey team. From early practices to big games, they built a bond through long bus rides, tough losses, sweet wins, and way too many late-night hotel stays filled with inside jokes and half-slept nights. Jake’s apartment quickly became one of Cole’s favorite hangout spots during college, it was always good vibes and solid company. No need for big plans, just sports games on tv, food, and easy conversation. That’s what made their friendship stick. Now, as Cole and Sarah step into this new chapter, it means the world to have Jake by their side.
BRIDESMAID
Karem and Sarah became instant best friends during their sophomore year history class in High school. From that first connection, they’ve shared a lifetime of memories. Over the years, Karem has been more than just a friend. She’s been family in every way that matters. Her love, loyalty, and unwavering presence have meant the world to Sarah and to Cole. She celebrated their joys, lifted them during hard times, and been a constant source of strength and light. Together, they’ve done it all impromptu photo shoot, spontaneous sushi runs, college Halloween parties, and yes…. Even jumping off bridges into water like they were starring in their own teen drama. Their friendship is powered by sun, salt water, and a shared inability to say no to a questionable adventure. Their friendship is woven with sunlight and sea spray and today Sarah and Cole couldn’t imagine saying “I Do” without Karem standing beside them.
GROOMSMAN
Cole met Miggy back at Lawrence Tech, where he was the assistant coach for the hockey team Cole played on. At first, it was all business… Drills, practices, and the usual “coach voice.” But it didn’t take long for Cole to realize that Miggy was more than just the guy holding the whistle. Between their shared love of sports, Xbox, and throwing jabs back and forth, they clicked fast. Miggy was there for it all.. big wins, tough losses, long practices, and longer road trips. He knew when to push Cole and when to just hang out and be a friend. These days, there’s no more yelling on the ice (thankfully), but there’s plenty of yelling during football season. Now it’s all about debating fantasy lineups, texting mid-game reactions, and throwing out bets neither of them should probably be placing. The competitive energy is still there just with fewer sprints and more screen time. Miggy’s been a coach, a mentor, and one of Cole’s closest friends. Sarah and Cole are so happy to have him standing beside them on their big day
BRIDESMAID
Kynley and Sarah’s friendship started with a bang, literally, the moment they both opened their mouths and shouted at the opposing team during a college hockey game. It was love at first chirp, and from that point on, they were inseparable. The bleachers became their meeting place, the road their second home. Together, they racked up hours of travel, sleepless hotel nights, and endless Doctor pepper fueled road trips. Coordinated outfits? Always. Perfect glam for rink-side seating? Absolutely. No one brought more energy or better looks to the rink than Kynley and Sarah. Their friendship was loud, passionate, and instantly easy. Whether it was screaming in unison at a ref’s bad call or sharing side-eyes that spoke volumes, their bond grew fast and deep. They became each other’s go-to for advice, support, and much-needed hype. But beneath the glam and the giggles was something deeper a bond that built itself on loyalty, laughter, and all the little moments in between. Even when life pulled them to different states, that didn’t matter. Their friendship never skipped a beat. One call and they were right back where they left off. Laughing, venting, and updating each other on every juicy detail. Whether it’s been two days or two months. As Sarah steps into this new chapter of her life, having Kynley by her side means more than words could ever fully express.
Groomsman
Cole met Connor in college, where long classes became much more bearable thanks to their constant side commentary and inability to take anything too seriously. What started as a few shared jokes quickly turned into a full-blown friendship once they discovered they had the exact same chaotic sense of humor and an equally strong love for video games. Despite living states apart now, not much has changed. They still spend plenty of time laughing, competing, and probably arguing over a headset, proving that distance doesn’t stand a chance against their friendship. We’re so happy to have Connor standing with us on our big day it wouldn’t be the same without him
FLOWER GIRL
Meet Bell! Cole’s sweet niece, goddaughter, and everyone’s favorite little spark of sunshine. Bell is the kind of girl who lights up every room she walks into. She’s full of fun, laughter, and just the right amount of sass. A true girls’ girl, she loves dressing up, twirling in cute dresses, and being the life of the party (and trust us, she is the party). With an adventurous heart and a hilarious sense of humor, Bell keeps Sarah and Cole laughing nonstop. She brings so much joy to their lives, and is the absolute perfect flower girl. This wedding wouldn’t be the same without her sparkle… and let’s be honest, she’s probably going to steal the show (and we’re totally okay with that)
