FAQs

The Wedding Website of Alexandra Morrison and Caleb Edwards
Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

As much as we would love for us to make this event to open to all, we sadly cannot due to spacing, cost, and the intimacy of our wedding. We ask that only those formally invited to our wedding on the invitation come and it will specify on the invite if you are allotted a plus one.

Question

What if I didn't RSVP in time?

Answer

We would appreciate RSVPs to be submitted by April 10th. Although we will have loved to celebrate with you but if we do not receive your RSVP by the date provided, it will be automatically marked as "no." We may reach out to verify but this is due to providing our vendors with a final count within a certain time frame. Thank you for understanding.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time to find parking and your seat. Once the ceremony begins, no entrance will be granted. The ceremony will be starting at 4:00 pm so please be there no later than 3:30 pm.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

While we understand that this may be contrary to most, our wedding will be a dry wedding where we will have a bar provided for mocktails throughout the night. We will also still be providing a toast but it may look a bit different. We hope you understand!

Question

Where will the ceremony and reception take place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will both take place at Breckenridge barn. The ceremony as well as the cocktail hour will take place outside of the barn. The reception will take place inside the barn. Please keep this in mind with attire as well. All of this is weather permitting, if needed all will be moved into the barn.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are going to have an "unplugged ceremony" meaning we will all be putting our cameras and phones away during this time. Each of you were thoughtfully invited and thus we want each of you to be fully present as we take this next step as husband and wife. We will share photos as soon as we get them and don't want those beautiful shots blocked by our many screens. We also have chosen photographers that will not only take pictures of us but you being with us on this moment. As soon as the ceremony is over, take all the pictures you want.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let us know about any food allergies or dietary restrictions when you RSVP so we can share them with our caterer. We want to make sure everyone feels comfortable and can enjoy the meal, and accommodations will be made whenever possible.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We want each of you to feel and look your best—this day is not only about us, but about celebrating all of you who have helped us get to this moment. We’re asking guests to wear garden formal attire, so dress to impress and feel amazing! Here is a Pinterest board to help with the vision : https://pin.it/5mcaQw9nO For the ladies: Dresses in any colors, patterns, or textures that you love—we can’t wait to see the beauty and personality you bring. We would love for you to be the pop of color for this wedding so please no black dresses! For the gentlemen: Suits are encouraged, though a tuxedo isn’t required (unless you’d like to wear one!). Any color, including black is welcome!

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! Our venue has plenty of onsite parking available for all of our guests.
