What is the attire for the wedding?
Answer
Black Tie Optional: Tuxes, dark suits, and gowns are preferred but NOT required. Also, keep in mind that the wedding ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors during the evening hours. Since it will still be early spring, this time of day can potentially cool down significantly. You may want to bring a light jacket or shawl depending on the day's weather!

Are kids invited?
Answer
Unfortunately, we are unable to invite children under 18 to our wedding because of space limitations. However, we would LOVE for your kids to join us for the welcome party and the post-wedding brunch. For our family and friends traveling in from out of town - we'd be happy to help you find childcare for the wedding night!

Why does the wedding start so late in the evening?
Answer
The library closes to the public at 5 pm on Saturdays, which means that 7 pm is the earliest we can have our ceremony. Hopefully you'll forgive us for the late night after you see how stunning the library is! We'll also make sure to have lots of coffee readily available.

Where do I park?
Answer
Parking: Currently the BPL has a relationship with the Clarendon Street Garage which gives folks a reduced rate of $20 per car (the BPL has chaser tickets that they can give guests that night-they do have to go inside the parking garage office to pay though in order to get the deal). The other option unofficially is the Back Bay Garage. The BPL doesn't have a relationship with them for giving out vouchers…however they have an amazing deal online on the weeknights and weekends for $10.
