We met in 2020- a year that came with masks, mixed signals, and absolutely no instructions. In a season defined by change, one unexpected moment turned into conversation, curiosity, and a bold chance worth taking. What followed felt easy from the start. Laughter came naturally, conversations lasted longer than planned, and somewhere in the middle of it all, something solid took hold. It didn’t need to be rushed or forced, it just worked. Our love evolved, and so did everything around it. Kyle stepped into our lives with intention and heart, loving my boys as his own and proving that family is built through showing up, choosing each other, and doing life together. The arrival of Karsyn Avery added a whole new layer of love to our lives, deepening everything we were building. Through every season, we chose each other.
