Jarrell Cove State Park
Michael and Moriyah went here to have a picnic and taste their wedding cupcakes! With the gorgeous water views, and small hiking area, it makes for a fun daytime activity!
The Olympia Farmers Market
Open Thursday-Sunday 10a-3p They have a wide variety of vendors including fresh produce, organic soaps, baked goods, and handmade crafts!
Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium
Self explanatory! The zoo is always a great idea, and this one has an aquariam as well 🐟
Ocean Shores
Ocean shores is a cute little beach town! Our favorite (more private) beach is called “North Jetty” and we also like the Copalis beaches! There’s a delicious ice cream shop (peppermint parlor) in town which attaches to a go-kart track! You can ride horses on the main beach for $30, and there’s multiple shopping centers! Our absolute favorite activity in ocean shores is to make a bonfire and roast s’mores + weenies at sunset 🤍 Don’t forget to check out Ocean shores neighboring town, Seabrook!
Leavenworth
Now this is a little bit of a drive, but it’s absolutely worth it! To start, the mountain view’s are breathtaking. The main town is German themed, and the food they serve is delicious! There’s a new alpine coaster, which takes you through an actual mountain at high speeds! We also love going zip lining at “Leavenworth Ziplines” This town is a beautiful experience.
Mount Rainier National Park
We absolutely love Mt. Rainier! With its stunning views, and beautiful hiking trails, it’s a wonderful place to experience! There will most likely be snow on the ground, and you may be able to spot some prairie dogs! The lodge also has a cute little shop with the yummiest huckleberry jam for sale!
