Maid of Honor

Moriah and Beverly met in 2019 while volunteering at Riverwish Animal Sanctuary in Spokane, WA. Beverly has been a monumental support in Moriah’s life and has become, not only a friend, but a sister. Truly Bev has helped Moriah grow as a person and has stood by her side, loyally, as she navigated the world and found her place in it. Beverly has been irreplaceable to the planning of the wedding. She has been a real “Lesley Knope” (Parks & Rec reference) with her out-of-this-world, thorough organization skills and unwavering love and support of Moriah. Moriah couldn’t imagine this day without her sister by her side.

Christy

Bridesmaid

Moriah and Christy met in 2021 at the gym when Moriah lived in Spokane, WA. There they became lifting buddies and fast friends. Through shared experiences and many workouts, their bond grew and Christy became an important part of Moriah’s support system. Christy selflessly has helped Moriah face challenging circumstances without a second thought and has been there as a support on even the darkest days. Christy is soft and gentle, always reminding Moriah that she is very loved and can do anything.

Nikia (Nik)

Moriah and Nik met in 2010 when they were just twelve and thirteen. Nik is Moriah’s longest standing childhood friend and has been her supporter for almost 14 years! Nikia has helped Moriah navigate the difficulties of life with loyalty, love, and so much humor, making Moriah laugh with her whit, mischievous looks, and incredibly endearing goofiness. No matter how much time passes, the two always pick up right where they left off. Truly kindred spirits, Nik and Moriah have each others backs and are always rooting for the others success.

Nnebueze

Moriah met Nnebueze through Bev in 2020, and the two became great friends. Always encouraging Moriah to explore new things and be true to herself, Nnebueze continually supports Moriah in taking big leaps. Nnebueze has been a strong, positive support for Moriah and has reminded her of her strength on many, many occasions. One of the most optimistic people Moriah knows, Nnebueze continues to be a bright ray of sunshine amongst the clouds. If Moriah ever needs a hype-woman, she knows where to go!

Sara

Bridesmaid

Moriah and Sara met in 2021 at Iron Goat Brewing in Spokane, WA, when Moriah picked up a side-gig slinging beer. Sara quickly became a point of encouragement and support for Moriah. Over beers and tears the two got closer and when Moriah found a little kitten, she named him Sweet Potato and knew only one person fit the job to take the little guy in, Sara. Sara's warmth, acceptance, and open mindedness has taught Moriah many lessons about life and love. As Sara says, "I'm always in your corner, baby," and Moriah knows she means it.
