San Diego Zoo
The San Diego Zoo is a 100-acre wildlife park that is home to more than 12,000 rare and endangered animals representing over 680 species and subspecies. It is an absolutely beautiful area to spend a morning walking through.

La Jolla Cove
La Jolla Cove is a beautiful look out point to spot lots of resting sea lions and other wildlife. There are also many kayak rental spots down the road in the La Jolla Shores area that allow you to paddle out and get an even closer look!

Sunset Cliffs Natural Park
Sunset Cliffs Natural Park is a 68-acre regional park which extends 1½ miles along the Point Loma peninsula's western shoreline. This unique coastal environment features expansive ocean views, dramatic cliff formations and caves. With its rugged coastline and panoramic views, this area is popular with surfers, ocean-gazers, and offers breathtaking views and the most amazing sunsets that you will ever see.
