WHAT TO WEAR?

Answer

The dress code is Coastal Semi Formal. We know it makes it easier when you have clear descriptions, so we’ve included some further dress code guidance below. Women can feel free to wear resort wear style dresses. If guests feel more comfortable in pants, elevated sets or jumpsuits are welcomed! Block heels, wedges, or dressy sandals are great footwear options. For men, feel free to wear long-sleeved or short-sleeved collared shirts, such as polos. Long pants like chinos or slacks with any close-toed shoe is great. JACKETS ARE NOT NECESSARY on a hot August day. **Please no jeans, shorts, t-shirts, or flip flops**

IS THERE GOING TO BE A CEREMONY TO ATTEND?

We will be having a private ceremony in Santa Barbara before joining you all! We hope you will help us celebrate the following weekend in San Diego at our post wedding celebration as husband and wife!

WHAT DOES CELEBRATION OF MARRIAGE MEAN?

Answer

We’re delighted to continue the celebration with a relaxed, cocktail-style reception with beer and wine following our elopement. Everyone will be welcome to enjoy a generous selection of delicious food for dinner and refreshing drinks, accompanied by an evening of yard games and open seating—designed to give everyone the perfect opportunity to reconnect, unwind, and celebrate together.

IF I'M FLYING, WHICH AIRPORT SHOULD I FLY INTO?

Answer

The San Diego International Airport is a short Uber ride from all the suggested hotels and airbnbs!

DO I NEED TO RENT A CAR?

Answer

San Diego has excellent Uber and Lyft service. Unless you are staying more than 20 minutes from the reception venue, you do not absolutely need a rental car to get around. If you would like to spend the weekend sightseeing the beautiful San Diego, please feel free to rent a car!

IS THERE PARKING FOR THE RECEPTION?

Yes, Stone Brewing is within Liberty Station and there are plenty of large, free lots to park.

IS THERE A ROOM BLOCK?

Answer

In San Diego we are lucky to have many options when it comes to accommodations. We will not have a room block to allow everyone to choose the holiday weekend destination they desire. Please see the Travel and Lodging tab for recommendations.

WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE?

Answer

Labor Day Weekend in San Diego tends to be the height of summer! Based on the last couple years, you can expect a high around 78° and a low around 68°.

Yes, our venue is all outdoors. Please prepare for a warm, sunny summer day!
