Their story begins 10 years ago when Morgan saw Tyler walking the halls at school. She knew who he was before he even knew she existed, but she was not about to let that last for long. She reached out to Tyler after getting his snapchat through a mutual friend. Their paths crossed again and again at their brothers' soccer games, and it wasn’t long before their innocent connection turned into something more. In November 2014, Tyler took a brave step and invited Morgan on their first date. After meeting at his house with all his extended family in town, they made their way to the theater in the back seat of the car as Tyler’s dad drove them there. Morgan couldn’t hold in her smirk as her mom asked if they shared a kiss on their first date. From that moment on, their days were filled with laughter and special moments. However, as with many young loves, their relationship faced its trials. They went their separate ways but never completely stopped talking to each other. As the summer came around they decided to spend their days walking the Five Star Trail to see each other. The spark was back between them and there was no denying it. The story of Tyler and Morgan took a sweet turn on July 24, 2015, when Tyler, with a heart full of hope and a volleyball in hand, asked Morgan to be his girlfriend. As this took them into Freshman and Sophomore year of high school, they spent the next three years hanging out as high school kids do. When Tyler left for college, the distance was a significant challenge, but their love remained unwavering. Over the next five years, they navigated the complexities of a long-distance relationship, visiting each other for soccer games, volleyball tournaments, and dinner dates on the weekends. As they neared their eighth anniversary, they knew it was time to close the distance once and for all. In the summer of 2023, they took on a new chapter together, finding their first apartment in the charming neighborhood of Lawrenceville, Pittsburgh.

As the moment approached Tyler spent the week leading up to the proposal hiking through McConnell’s Mills to find a perfect spot, and telling Morgan they should go on a little date to celebrate everything they had recently accomplished in life together. On Saturday August 5th, 2023, Tyler helped Morgan pick out a dress, packed a picnic and left the destination a surprise. When they got to the trail Morgan was confused why she was so overdressed but went with it, trying to not get too excited anticipating what she assumed was coming next. After coming upon the perfect spot, Tyler dropped to one knee and asked Morgan to marry him. Unable to contain her excitement Morgan said YES and the couple embraced in a hug. To this day the couple is excited to be finally taking this big step together that they have talked about since they were kids. screamed, shouted "YES," and we were engaged.
