We're so excited to celebrate with you!

Morgan and Shawn have actually known of each other since high school but never connected until May of 2018. Morgan was going through an extremely dark time in her life when this gentle, loving, caring man opened his arms and heart to help her through and find the sunshine again. From the very first conversation the chemistry was there and on the first date if felt like they had known each other their whole lives and had so much in common. As the process of her separation and divorce continued, Shawn was right there every step of the way. Not once did he ever think of walking away from her baggage filled life. He is the optimist to her pessimist self, he is her sunshine on the dark, cloudy days.

Shawn asked Morgan to dinner at On the Border in Cary, NC. They enjoyed their favorite mexican and many laughs. After dinner they ventured to old downtown Cary. They decided to just walk along the downtown streets taking in the sounds, sights and smells. It had just snowed a couple days prior and hadn't fully melted so the fountain was not on. But around the Cary Fountain is a Foosball table, ping pong tables as well as a couple other outdoor games. They played a few rounds of Foosball where Morgan won the tiebreaker ;) It began to get dark so they decided to walk around the fountain and get ready to head over to Morgan's parents for game night. It was then that Shawn got down on one knee and asked if Morgan would spend the rest of her life with him!! It was one of the happiest days of their lives.
