FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We kindly request black-tie attire. Tuxedos are preferred, though dark, formal suits are acceptable. Floor-length gowns are appropriate for women. If possible, we ask that guests avoid wearing light blue, pale yellow, and white.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

We are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding, as we'd like to keep the guests list just to those who know us well. The name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As a kindergarten teacher, Morgan adores children every day of the week. But for our wedding, we’re giving her the night off! We kindly ask that the celebration remain adults-only.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

While Morgan is no stranger to eating the granola bar from her purse during a wedding dinner, there will be no need for you to do the same. We will have at least one gluten-free or dairy-free option available during cocktail hour, dinner, and dessert. If you have any additional allergies or dietary needs, please indicate them on your RSVP so we can accommodate you.

Question

Will the wedding be outdoors?

Answer

Be sure to hydrate and slather on that SPF because yes, the ceremony and will occur outside. We know an outdoor wedding in the middle of July is not ideal, so only this portion of the day will take place outside. As of recent, the cocktail hour will now occur inside the Dover Hall manor.

Question

Will transportation be available?

Answer

Yes! We will have two shuttles to take guests to and from Dover Hall and Hyatt House. For any sleepy, old, or uncoordinated guests, there will be an early shuttle back to Hyatt House around 9pm.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes! There is plenty of free parking available at Dover Hall.
