Sayulita has an easy small wave with a beachy bottom, making it the perfect place to take surf lessons. For anyone who has never surfed before this is the perfect place to learn, the warm water also makes it very inviting. For all the rest of our surfer buddies that know what they are doing, there are plenty of great surf breaks nearby that will be slightly more challenging
Located riverside, next to the baseball stadium, the Hippie Market is open every day and features products crafted by local artisans. The stalls are stocked with unique items that make excellent gifts, such as hand-painted baseball caps, crochet dreamcatchers in every color scheme you can think of and handmade jewelry.
Camaron is located at the Sayulita main beach where many go for the sunset. Order a beer (around US$1.50) and enjoy their beach bar setting while watching the sunset.
Sayulita is famous for its golf carts. They are everywhere and it wouldn’t be a vacation without spending at least one day zipping around in one. Yes, Sayulita is very small and easy to walk around, but it is also fun to just rent a golf cart.
San Pancho or San Fransico is a small town just to the north of Sayulita. It is the perfect escape for anyone looking for a semi-more relaxing day. Don’t get me wrong Sayulita is great, but sometimes you just want to sit on a beach and not be bothered.
