Our Wedding venue, Bolton Castle, was built over 600 years ago in the mid 14th century. It has stood the test of time and is one of the country's best preserved medieval castles. Despite being damaged in the English Civil War, the majority of the castle is still intact, and remarkably has never been sold - passed down through generations and currently owned by Thomas Peter Algar Orde-Powlett, 9th Baron Bolton. Make sure to take in the rich history of Bolton while visiting, including the imprisonment of the infamous Mary, Queen of Scots. Check out the wild boar, walk through the immaculate gardens, and please admire the views of Wensleydale from atop the tower!
The Three Peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Ingleborough and Whernside are among the best-known hills in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Every year thousands come to reach the top of at least one or to conquer all three in one go.
Catch a rugby or football game! There are multiple high level teams based in Yorkshire and experiencing the atmosphere in an English stadium is a very unique experience!
The quaint pubs of the Yorkshire Dales are a great place to transport back in time and grab a traditional English lager.
