Your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for, but if you wish to give something, we kindly ask for a monetary gift to help us start our new life together. If possible, we would prefer cash through the fund on the 'registry' tab of this website (rather than checks or physical gifts we'd have to travel back to the states with). We appreciate your understanding!
To our friends from the US, do not fear driving! Driving is the best way to get around and make the most of your time in Yorkshire Dales. We'd suggest looking up a UK driving simulation video so you can get an idea for what driving will feel like. Please keep in mind that all cars drive on the left side of the road in the UK, and most cars are manual transmission. If you would like an automatic vehicle, be sure to request one when booking a car. All standard rental car companies have locations at Manchester, Heathrow, and Gatwick Airports. Travel by rail is also extremely popular in the UK, though there is not an active station in the areas immediately surrounding the venue. Tickets can be booked through the Trainline app.
